I’m really excited to finally be able to share this project after lots of hard work!
I decided to create a large 3D paper sculpture as a bit of an experimental original art project. Usually my paper sculptures are only made for photography purposes but this time I wanted to create a piece which would hold it’s pretty charm from all angles, this way it could be used for exhibitions! I’ve really wanted to start focusing more on the post production side of things so I handed the piece over to my partner Michael Foyle who photographed and finished the final image using light compositing techniques. 50 odd photoshop layers and several hours of hard work later, the final image is now finished and I’m SO happy with the results. I can’t wait to do more work like this! Hope you like it!
